We Find Our Way (9/17/18)

The ocean looks so different

In the changing of the seasons

The waves rolled in like giants

A roar of chaos and play

But those were the hunger

Of all my younger days

As I’ve come to see

The ebb and flow

The color shift to darkness

There’s still a soft shimmer

A glimmer of hope

The wind comes to touch

My solitary soul

Within this fragile skin

This belly of the water

The Wild has come to know

Circle waves go round and round

They rise above, they hit the ground

But I am just a witness now

I once was lost, but now I’m found

Sunrise and sunset

A ball of fire hits a level plane

The changing of the seasons

Light and dark

Like night and day

Hand in hand

We find our way
