And fallen leaves from autumn trees
That flows from emerald pastures
Untouched by human earthly greed
I once learned to travel there
Still young enough to see
The constellations up above
Drawn in the wings of bees
A thimble there, a kiss or two
From Peter Pan in Neverland
Made me see I couldn’t stand
Forever in the promised land
But if I closed my eyes to dream
I’d see that stream behind the veil
And hear the tender music play
Like church bells in their holy way
The truth was never really clear
Outside the inside vision here
One eye open, one eye closed
I watch that lily water flow
