Judgment’s Just a Mirror

When the melancholy wells inside me

To rise and spill beyond the boundary

A line we carve with heroes' names

Scathes our human earthly ways

So judge me into boxes tight

That keep the day out and the night

Til shame will hurt both you and I

The cries I cry are yours and mine

I'm just a mirror for you now

So drop those walls

And fall down proud

Upon both knees

That need the ground

Til feet can find you

Where you're found

You point and stare at rambling men

Who don't know where things start or end

But listen close and you will hear

The void inside you learned to fear

I'm just a mirror for you now

So drop those walls

And fall down proud

Upon both knees

That need the ground

Til feet can find you

Where you're found

But all that's lost

Can soon be found

Beneath the pride

That keeps us bound

To heroes that hold nothing true

And Gods that never talk to you

Cuz the rambling man

Knows more than most

The children too

That speak of ghosts

The unborn world we'll never know

Lives deep inside us

As it grows

I'm just a mirror for you now

So drop those walls

And fall down proud

Upon both knees

That need the ground

Til feet can find you

Where you're found
